All,

I'm going to start posting a variety of questions & statements. I invite you to contribute and respectfully respond to others' thoughts, views and experiences. If things get heated- Remember!- in any debate, one is to attack the statement not the individual who made it.

Enjoy! And thanks for your participation.

Question 1: How is it that a God of love permits the triumph of evil?

God allows the free will of man. A lot of people will blame God for what has happened in their life when the fact of the matter is WE, as the children of God, have created ALL of our problems from the very beginning with the fall of man in the Garden of Eden.

God is the ultimate drama king. He created this planet and everything in it to worship Him. Then...evil came in. He allows this evil because without it there would be no need for a Savior...nothing to triumph over. He has to have this 'dark' side to show light. He made us to love Him but He also made us with the ability to make a choice. If He made us like a robot then it wouldn't be true love. Now the evil coming into the world is there to show us His goodness. We would have nothing to compare to without it. We wouldn't have to make a choice to love Him because there wouldn't be anything we wanted to be saved from. Everything would be perfect so the 'evil' shows us our need.
